01. Assumption of Risk & Liability Release
Operating any motorized, high-performance vehicle involves inherent risks that cannot be fully eliminated.
Inherent Risks: Riding a TLTBoard (whether gasoline or electric-powered) is an active, extreme sport. It carries the risk of property damage, serious bodily injury, paralysis, or death. These risks can result from, but are not limited to, loss of control, collisions, terrain conditions, weather, or improper maintenance.
Full Release of Liability: By completing this purchase, the Buyer voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the assembly, maintenance, and operation of the TLTBoard. The Buyer agrees to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless TLTBOARD LLC, its founders, officers, employees, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or damages arising out of the use or operation of this product.
Safety Gear Mandate: The Buyer agrees to always wear certified protective equipment (including a certified helmet, knee/elbow pads, and proper footwear) and to ride strictly in accordance with local laws and personal skill limits.
02. Handcrafted Engineering & Pre-Shipping Quality Assurance
We take pride in our engineering and craft. A TLTBoard is a specialized, engineered machine, not an anonymous, mass-produced assembly-line toy.
Individually Built & Tested: Every single TLTBoard is designed by our lead mechanical engineer, hand-assembled, and undergoes rigorous hands-on testing.
Quality Assurance Ride: Before being packed and boxed, every board is test-ridden and tuned multiple times by our team to guarantee that the powertrain, brakes, steering geometry, and electronics perform flawlessly.
What to Expect: Because each unit is individually tested on real terrain prior to shipment, you may notice minor, clean cosmetic signs of testing (such as light dust on the tires). This is a certificate of active inspection, ensuring your board is 100% functional and ready to ride.
03. Customer Maintenance & Safety Ownership
High-performance carving machines require active ownership and regular mechanical care. To ensure your safety and the longevity of the vehicle, the Buyer agrees to perform the following:
Pre-Ride Inspections: Regularly check and tighten all bolts, nuts, and structural parts. Vibrations from off-road riding and carving can naturally loosen hardware over time.
Suspension & Bushing Maintenance: Periodically inspect the dual rubber adjustable suspension. Ensure that the rubber steering/damping bushings remain fresh, elastic, and free of dry-rot, cracking, or severe wear.
Stop Riding if Anomalies Occur: If you hear any unusual noises, experience abnormal vibrations, or suspect any mechanical or electrical issues, stop riding immediately. Do not operate a compromised vehicle. Reach out to our support team right away for guidance.
04. Mandatory Video Assembly & Setup Guidelines
Your TLTBoard will arrive partially disassembled to ensure safe, secure, and compact transport.
Required Instructional Videos: Immediately upon successful payment, you will receive an automated email containing access links to our official setup, assembly, and safety videos.
No Skipped Steps: The Buyer agrees to watch these videos in their entirety and follow the assembly instructions step-by-step. Skipping assembly steps or using unauthorized parts during setup may compromise the structural integrity of the board, poses severe safety risks, and voids our support terms.
05. International Shipping, Customs, & Local Regulations
We ship our handcrafted boards globally, but international shipping requires Buyer cooperation:
Customs, Duties, and Taxes: Any import duties, local taxes, customs clearance fees, or administrative charges applied by your destination country’s government or shipping carriers are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.
Compliance with Local Laws: The Buyer is solely responsible for researching and verifying that importing and operating a TLTBoard is legal under their local, state, and national laws. TLTBoard LLC is not liable for packages seized, delayed, or rejected by customs authorities or local law enforcement.
06. Refunds, Cancellations & Warranty
Due to the custom, handcrafted nature of our products and the cost and complexity of international freight, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. The following applies:
Cancellation: You may cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, production may have started and the order can no longer be cancelled.
Damaged in Shipping: If your board arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos or a short video. We will send replacement parts at our cost. No return of the board is required.
Warranty: Your board is covered against manufacturing defects for 3 months from delivery. We will send replacement parts at our cost. The warranty does not cover normal wear, crashes, misuse, modifications, or improper storage or maintenance.
